Bengaluru PG CCTV shows man dragging woman, stabbing her multiple times


A 22-year-old woman, Kriti Kumari, was brutally murdered in her PG accommodation on Wednesday. 

The CCTV footage has been released, providing more insight into the incident.

Originally from Bihar, Kumari worked at a private company in Bangalore. The attack occurred at the Koramangala VR Layout PG between 11.10 pm and 11.30 pm on Tuesday. Police believe the assailant, armed with a knife, entered the premises around 11.10 pm. The murder took place near a room on the third floor, where Kumari was killed instantly.

Koramangala police and South East Division DCP Sara Fatima promptly visited the crime scene. Authorities are currently tracking the suspect, who is believed to be an acquaintance, using CCTV footage. A case has been registered at Koramangala Police Station.
