  MAN’S PRIVATES RIPPED OFF BY DOG BEING MOLESTED  ‘NEWS’ WORTH CELEBRATING? 


A "news" article is being widely circulated on social media and its contents are causing animal rights activists to celebrate. 

But is the news worthy of celebration? According to Now 8 News, a Texas man, who was sexually assaulting a pit bull, had his penis torn off when the molested dog turned on him. 

While the content of the article may seem like perfectly timed Karma, it is actually coming from a news source that features fake articles.

Snopes.com lists Now 8 News as a fake news site - according to Snopes.com: “Now8News burst onto the fake news scene in mid-2015, racking up an impressive number of successful social media hoaxes despite the barely plausible premise upon which most were based: a man was arrested for having sex with a pig at Walmart, an obese woman was arrested for starving her kids so she could eat their food.”

Unfortunately, few people get behind the dramatic headline - a quick glance at the other articles on the would make the fake aspect readily apparent. 

Currently, other headlines on the site include "57 Pound Toad Caught Eating Neighboring Pets In New Mexico," and "White Woman Claims She Was Abducted And Impregnated By A “Dark Skinned Race Of Aliens.”

And a quick Google search of the Texas man's name reveals no other authentic news sites running a similar story... in this instance, the supposed story does not warrant celebration.
